So you can check those out as you pick preferences.īeyond that what is really important is to make sure your top 3 are one of each type (bulb/tech, hat/business, gun/strength), and likely mix up nations across the team which will make upgrading easier. Right now I think Yuya’s and Consuelo’s skins are really excellent, all of the buffer skins are great, and Vince’s skin seems strong for a healer. Within those groups capos are mostly the same, though as skins come out they’re starting to differentiate. And if you want to build a different mix that’s fine too, it’s not set in stone and many teams can work. It’s preference both for what mix of those and which capos you like (or the game gives you) in each. The Twins and Wesker also feel really niche, though when the twins skin comes it will be interesting to see. Self buffers, single healers, and single grenades seem weak generally (Edna, Laura, Sandra, Shun). Team grenades (Dante, Pedro) are strong end game but weak before. Gianluca (grenade+single target, plus street skill)ġ+ team buffer (Gigi, Izumi, Enzo, Eugenio)Ġ or 1 multi damage capo (Consuelo best skin, Gogo, Kyo, Cesar)Ĭ+V (prevent death for 3 turns to nearby capos) Wheels (debuff reduce damage from target, plus street skill) Most folks will pick 5-7 of the following:ġ-2 single damage capos (Yuya best skin, Bella, Jose, Kate, Mitsu, Rosario, Yusu) We will still allow discussions of specific capos and strategy and how to use them, but it’s a new line we’re feeling out so may make tweaks. If we see posts they’ll be deleted and pointed back here. We are creating a new rule not to post on which capos should I build / rate my team posts outside of this thread. If you have clarifying questions on what this means you can ask here in the comments. This comment has the general advice on how to build a team, the same as you’d see pinned in the official discord. These question comes up a lot, and while they’re a very common need for new (or not so new) players, there are no “best” capos or teams so the answers are always the same and the duplicate threads can crowd out other discussion. Hopefully another player or mod may make a new version at some point. I’m going to leave this post up as hopefully it remains helpful for a while, but I won’t be updating it or able to answer comments. Edit May 1: I’m retiring from the game as other real life priorities are calling. There are 21 million Bitcoins available in the world.Make sense? So let’s look at it this way: So, the more you find, the less is left, and the more the value will rise as you get to the end of your undiscovered supply. Like gold or diamonds, there is a limited amount of it out there. But that also means it’s a whole lot harder to mine. It also means faster transactions, with more Bitcoin miners hard at work to push these transactions through the world’s digital economy.Īs we just mentioned, more Bitcoin miners mean the currency is faster and safer. Adding more Bitcoin miners will mean a more secure network for the world. They approve or deny a transaction, with an eye out for fraudulent deals.Īnd if the deal is approved, they get a piece of the action for their effort. Now, they also earn money another way: by monitoring and approving Bitcoin transactions. They go out on the web and solve incredibly complex math problems to mine the Bitcoin currency, and when they succeed, they’re rewarded with Bitcoin payments for their hard work. Only, they’re not using a pickaxe, they’re using a specialized software, or hardware like a USB Bitcoin Miner. That’s pretty much the model of the Bitcoin miner. And for their trouble, these miners would often get rewarded with a bit of currency themselves. Miners would be the ones going into the mines and unearthing these precious stones and metals so they could be put into the economy. In the old, old days before we started to print money, jewels and medals were the currency we exchanged. The term “miner” actually is very accurate and fitting. It’s done! How is this possible? Behind the hard work and digital heavy lifting of bitcoin miners. But again, with Bitcoin: 10 minutes, smartphone, pajamas, tea. And then the money would be in escrow for a few days. Plus convert to their own local currency. If you wanted to do the same thing with traditional currency, it would take you a day just to work with all the banks involved to confirm and transfer the amount. We live in an age where you can take out your smartphone and send 10 different amounts of Bitcoin to 10 different people, in 10 different countries, in less than 10 minutes.Īnd you can do it from your smartphone, in your pajamas with a cup of tea. Maybe you’ve heard of how versatile and simple it is to use and exchange. Maybe you’re drawn to some of the things you’ve heard about Bitcoin- how it may be the currency of the future. The Wind won two Grammys, with the album itself receiving the award for Best Contemporary Folk Album, while ‘Disorder in the House’, Zevon’s duet with Bruce Springsteen, was awarded Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocal. He’s in fine vocal form on this track, and the lyrical content is heartbreakingly beautiful. Then there’s the closer ‘Keep Me In Your Heart’. Not since his first self-titled record were the twists and turns of Warren’s elusive character better displayed side by side than on The Wind, which moves from the tender ‘Please Stay’ to the bluesy raunch of ‘Rub Me Raw’. Still, he never lost his real gifts, which were contradictory: a passion for rousing the populace from their ordinary lives, and a talent for digging deep into the vagaries of the human heart. There’s an old saying that “life is what happens while you’re making other plans”, and life, in the form of drugs, alcohol and the road were what happened to Warren. Warren often tried to make himself and us forget that he had once nourished symphonic ambitions. He was a teenage prodigy who had received both instruction and friendship from Igor Stravinsky. You may not be aware what an exceptional pianist and composer the classically-trained Warren was. He played everything for all it was worth. Yes, and while it’s bitterly ironic and fitting that he chose this song to offer up in his final work, Warren’s vocal demands at the end of this track “open up, open up, open up” demonstrate something only he would do. Speaking of which, Warren’s cover of the Dylan classic ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’ is alone worth the price of admission to this album – and while Warren was not noted for doing covers (he simply wrote too many great songs of his own) this track demonstrates he was a splendid interpreter of others’ material. ‘Dirty Life and Times’ and ‘The Rest of The Night’ echo some of his early tracks such as ‘I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead’, and ‘Excitable Boy’, while providing the disquieting knowledge that he wouldn’t be around much longer. And while Warren’s voice was considerably diminished by his rapidly deteriorating health, the intent, the vigour and his indomitable spirit shine throughout the record. It’s more than a stellar assembly: Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Dwight Yoakam, Ry Cooder, David Lindley, Joe Walsh, Don Henley, and Jim Keltner appear, providing exceptional accompaniment to new material. Warren rounded up his finest friends to help him out on The Wind. In the meantime we can remember what we had and what we lost with Warren’s passing. It won’t be nearly as good as the originals of The Wind or Excitable Boy or Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School but it will be regarded as a major musical event. Somewhere, sometime, some young kid is going to discover the Warren Zevon catalogue and make his or her name with a tribute album. One thing is for sure: these songs are gonna last a long time. The record had been released a scant two weeks previously. Others, well, they’ll leave you gasping with envy and astonishment (‘Prison Grove’) at the sheer force of his musical inventiveness and insight. Some of his stuff will break your heart (‘She’s Too Good For Me’) and make you wonder why he never really broke into the big time. Brilliant, witty, infused with rock and roll to the core, coming up with killer lines unequalled by anyone in the lyric writing game: such is the stuff of The Wind, which was his last release, recorded short months before he died of mesothelioma. Walking in the valley of the shadow of death and pale as a ghost, Warren feared no evil, as he delivered up “another bad one”.ĭependable to the end was Warren Zevon. His final album, The Wind was a triumph of imagination over impending disaster. This year will mark the 16th anniversary of the death of Warren Zevon. Your USB device should be first in your boot order list so that anytime you insert a USB stick into a USB port and turn on your system, it will boot from the flash drive rather than from your hard drive.
